Dr. R. D. Sproat
British Hospital, Bermuda
August 1902
Dr. R.D. Sproat returned last week from Bermuda where he has been attached for some months to a British regiment to look after the health of Boer prisoners. He says that the Boers were healthy and that most of his work was operations, removing bullets, amputations, etc., the Boers having been poorly supplied with competent surgeons in the field.
